Andrew Huang builds up the harmonic series from sine waves and overtones to show how it shapes timbre, intervals, chords and tuning, with spectrograms and synth examples along the way.

Explains the physics underneath most of music theory in a short, well-built video; even music teachers say they took something from it.

This video does a good job of explaining it in a relatively short and simple way, but goes in-depth enough that even people with an understanding of music might learn something
